Who we are:
We are a full-service flower shop, located in a quaint, historic town of Bucks County, PA. We provide flowers for all of life’s events; including, birthdays, anniversaries, get well, weddings, funerals, new baby, proms, graduations, just because and more

How were we affected:
Once Covid-19 hit, our business was deemed non-essential and we had to immediately close down. We had to throw away our newly purchased perishable product and lock the door until further notice. We survive the slow months by succeeding in the busy months. Due to Covid-19, we lost ALL the revenue of March, April and May which are by far the busiest months Our challenges are to be able to order the flowers we need to get through the events we have scheduled and to be able to afford all of our bills going back in.

How did the Thryv Foundation Grant help your business:
The Thryv Foundation grant was a huge blessing. The Thryv Foundation gave me hope in knowing that I could pay my rent and some bills and partially replenish my flower inventory when I am able to return to my shop. We have all been isolated for so long that I am hoping people will want to send flowers to connect with the people they love.

What are your future goals and what do you hope to achieve:
With a small business, I am grateful for every order I get. My business was doing well right before Covid hit and I hope to connect with my customers and get back to delivering joy and happiness again. I can tell already that this time of social distancing has brought out the kindness in people and we appreciate each other a little bit more in the midst of our busy lives. My business is the catalyst that connects people, creates smiles and spreads some sunshine in everyone’s day who receives the flowers. I love what I do and how it helps people and I love how flowers make people feel. So, my goal is to continue spreading joy one arrangement at a time, just more of it!
